ABOUT DANIEL BARNES

Daniel Barnes is a California-based comic book writer and narrative designer. His most recent book is ENDLESS FANTASIA -- a fantasy-adventure comic book made in collaboration with Story Leaf.

Other titles he’s written for include SONIC THE HEDGEHOG: CHAOTIX 30th ANNIVERSARY (IDW), SONIC THE HEDGEHOG: SCRAPNIK ISLAND (IDW), SONIC'S 900th ADVENTURE (IDW), SONIC THE HEDGEHOG ANNUAL 2022 (IDW), AGGRETSUKO: METAL TO THE MAX (Oni Press/Lion Forge), AGGRETSUKO: STRESS MANAGEMENT (Oni Press/Lion Forge), and THE BLACK MAGE (Oni Press/Lion Forge). You can also find his work in GUILD WARS 2 and GUILD WARS 3, MMORPGs developed by ArenaNet.

Daniel derives much of his inspiration from anime, ‘90s video games, and Saturday morning cartoons… and it shows! He hopes to inspire other creatives of color to pursue their artistic dreams, and to push for representation in mediums that they don’t often see themselves reflected in.
